the vcmp3 player v2.0 is my latest mp3 player. i have two reasons for making this new version. 1. i wanted to
integrate many of my existing controls into one program to see them work together as well as show them off. a mp3 player is a great interface for this to happen. 2. since i upgraded my os recently, i lost some components i needed for my last version of my vcmp3 player and thus couldn't compile my old project any more (oops…shame on me). thus i needed to start over if i was to ever provide new features. thus, version 2 is born. version 2 includes some new features/improvements over the last version.
the skin improvements however made it so i could not make it backward compatible with my previous players skins. sorry about that. however, i believe you will find this skin builder easier to use. final note. this version uses portions from microsoft windows media player 10 series. the install does not contain any portion of their player thus you must have it already installed prior to installing this player. i use them for my visualizations. in the vcmp3 player v2 i use various other controls from my site such as: vcslidemenu, extended listview, vcimploder, vctrayalert and my vcformshape for the skins. by downloading this player, you will also be getting those controls. enjoy. additional skin can be found on my vcmp3 player skins page |

dude 4/20/2004 4:17:12 pm well i don't know about the rest of you, but i think this is cool. yes it does not have every single feature other players have, but how many of us really use all of them. i like the easy to make skins in this as i found it easy to do (yet not one i would care to submit yet). so i say keep up the great work. i am now using your player at home and work. |
