-vctray alert control- add msn type alerts to your application.
click image for larger view.	a while back i made a tray alert control that i had available on my site. while it worked fine, i did feel that i could do better and more closely mimick the alerts by microsoft messenger. so i set off once again to build a new tray alert control. here now is my vctrayalert activex control. the control very closely mimicks the alerts by microsoft's messenger. scroll in and out, gradient color, ability to assign images, close button, know when the users clicks on the alert and tell if they actually clicked the text itself, adjust the speed of the scroll and has 4 built in sound effects. font selection is also available. the alert will size itself to meet the size required by the text taking into account vbcrlf's. give it a try and see how close it is. as of may 13th 2003, the vctrayalert control now includes an optional registration. i did this for two reasons. one, i receive many emails about how great it is and constant requests for changes and help. all the help i am providing is cutting into other development time. second, it has become my most popular dowload (second to my extended listview) and as any developer who makes something, i want to see if i can make any money off of it. before you decide not to download let me put you at ease and say it is an optional registration. if you never register (pay) there are no side effects to your users. to register the vctrayalert control please visit the registration page here.

what can i say, this control is great i love all your stuff but this one i was actually able to work into my existing work quickly while the other controls i downloaded will have to wait till i have the need. just want to say thank you for making all these controls available and for free. keep up the great work and i will be sure to be using this control and others in more of my projects. thanks again and keep it up. btw i am now using your vcmp3 player all the time. love the skins (and the one of your wife ).

clint- this control is great! i knew i would use it eventually when i first saw it, and i am finally getting to that point. it works very well, and is easy to use. well done!
